The terms on which we supply, and on which this site may be used.

Last updated: 23 August 2026Effective from 23 August 2026

These terms govern your use of this website and any supply of goods by Raima Naturals Private Limited. Where we have signed a separate written agreement with you, that agreement takes precedence over anything here.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "Raima Naturals" mean that company. "You" means the business making an enquiry or placing an order.

02This is a business-to-business supply

We supply essential oils, extracts and raw botanical materials to businesses — perfumers, flavour and fragrance houses, cosmetic and personal-care formulators, distillers and trade buyers — for further formulation, processing or resale. We do not sell to consumers through this website, and there is no checkout on it. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance.

03Enquiries, samples and when a contract is formed

Submitting the sample-request form starts a conversation; it does not create a contract and does not oblige us to supply anything. A binding contract arises only when we confirm your order in writing — by email, proforma invoice or signed sales contract — stating the material, quantity, specification, price, delivery terms and lead time.

Evaluation samples are supplied for assessment only. They are not for resale, not for onward distribution, and not to be represented as a commercial production lot.

Founding stage

Raima Naturals is in its founding years. Some botanicals documented in our Botanical Library are researched but not yet in production. We will always tell you which of our materials we can actually deliver, in what quantity and by when, before taking an order — rather than accept one we cannot fill.

04Quotations, prices and taxes

05Specification and natural variation

Every lot is supplied against an agreed specification, and we retain a sealed reference sample of each lot we ship. Conformity is judged against that specification and that reference sample.

Our materials are agricultural. Colour, viscosity, odour intensity and the exact proportions of individual constituents vary between harvests, seasons, altitudes and distillation runs. Variation that falls within the agreed specification is a property of a natural product, not a defect, and is not grounds for rejection. If your application needs a tighter window than we have quoted, tell us before you order and we will either widen the testing or decline the business honestly.

06What you are responsible for

You know your formulation and your market; we do not. Accordingly you are responsible for:

07No medical or therapeutic claims

Nothing on this website or in our documentation is medical advice, and none of our materials is offered as a medicine, a treatment or a cure for any condition. Botanical, ethnobotanical and traditional-use information is published as cultural and scientific context. Undiluted essential oils are concentrated and can be hazardous; they are supplied as raw materials for qualified formulators.

08Payment

Payment terms are set out on each order confirmation or proforma invoice. Unless we have agreed credit terms in writing, orders are payable in advance of dispatch. Title in the goods passes to you only when we have received payment in full; risk passes as set out in our Shipping Policy. We may charge interest on overdue amounts at the rate permitted by law.

09Delivery, returns and refunds

Delivery, Incoterms, dangerous-goods handling and transit claims are covered in the Shipping Policy. Rejection and physical return of goods is covered in the Return Policy. Cancellation and money back is covered in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Those pages form part of these terms.

10Intellectual property

The content of this website — text, photography, illustration, the maps, the botanical monographs, our analytical data and the Raima Naturals name and marks — belongs to us or is used with permission. You may read it, quote it briefly with attribution, and share the link. You may not republish it wholesale, scrape it, or use it to represent your own material as ours.

Analytical data we generate on our own lots remains ours; we grant you the right to rely on it for your own formulation and regulatory files.

11Accuracy of published information

Our Botanical Library distinguishes explicitly between figures drawn from published literature on related material and analysis performed on our own lots. Reference figures are labelled as reference figures. We publish them so you can see our reasoning, not so you can specify against them. Only the certificate of analysis issued with a specific lot describes that lot.

12Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the price you paid for the material giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of production, loss of contracts, wasted formulation cost, product recall or any indirect or consequential loss.

13Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including crop failure, flood, cyclone or an unseasonal monsoon, plant disease, strikes, blockades or road and border closures in the Northeast, changes in export or CITES regulation, carrier failure, or acts of government. Where such an event is likely to be prolonged, either of us may cancel the affected order and we will refund any sums paid for goods not delivered.

14Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will first be raised in writing and discussed in good faith. Failing resolution within 30 days, disputes are subject to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Agartala, Tripura, conducted in English. Subject to that, the courts of Tripura, India have exclusive jurisdiction.

15Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when we confirm your order is the version that governs that order. Continued use of this website after a change means you accept the revised terms.
